if they do change the gun season to one week later,will it go into effect this year or next? i have the week already turned in as vacation at work and if they change it ,i may not be able to get that week off. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

If the changes are made, they will take effect in 2011.

Why are so many people acting like those proposals are carved in stone? Can anyone name the last time IDNR made such a sweeping change to the season dates, or reduced the days for shotguns and MLs? And with a deer herd bursting at the seams?

How about going from one back to two, you know like "Illinois" is. I bet that rule would change the agenda if that would have been proposed also.
