A Union (KY) man was hospitalized Monday after his step-brother accidentally shot him, the Boone County Sheriff's Department said.
John Neff, 21, was shooting at turkey decoys behind his Beaver Road home in the Big Bone area, unaware that his stepbrother, Matthew Hamilton, 18, was in some woods behind the targets, said Deputy Tom Scheben, a spokesman for the sheriff's department.
Hamilton was hit with 12-gauge shot in his leg, arm, and hand, but his wounds were not believed life-threatening, Scheben said.
The incident happened at 6:45 p.m., and Hamilton was taken to University Hospital in Cincinnati for treatment.
No charges have been filed.

sounds to me like the one kid who got shot was shooting 3D archery targets, and his brother is just a little special.....I haven't seen any of them that look very realistic. But, as far as decoys, the TommyBoy that recently came out looks VERY real.
