Gobblespur
I use Nitros in a Winchester 12 ga. with a Hastings choke. I killed two last week in Nebraska. One bird was at 37 yards. The other bird at 42 yards. I have killed a bird at 48 yards, but nothing farther. The shot at 48 yards; I counted 13 wound sites in the head and neck.

I think some of you may be getting confused between the Remington Nitros which is a lead shell that is around .50 a piece and the Nitro shells which are around $5 a piece.

10 Point
He is asking about Remington Nitros. That is exactly what I am shooting. I am unaware of the Nitros that are $5/$6 a piece. That is an expensive shotgun shell.
