He is a nice guy. I've met him a few times too. his narratives during his shows annoy me tho. A little heavy on the cornpone from how he talks in real life.

Name dropper ... I don't recall ever meeting anyone famous , the closest I got was a quick glimpse of Jerry"The Beaver" Mathers when he was doing a tour of malls back in the late 70s .

I enjoy his shows about as food as any.
Most TV hunting programs are pitiful.

I agree with Woody. Deer ,turkey or elk......his shows are the best because they aren't fakey or staged.

Haven't really met a bunch of famous people in the turkey industry, Matt Morrell and Alex Rutledge. I have met a lot of famous fishing folkd though, Ray Scott, Earl Bentz, Shaw Grigsby to name a few. I even met Gov. Bayh once...ooooh aaah and Mike Pence. Oh and I know the Mayor of Noblesville....He is my boss

I agree with Woody. Deer ,turkey or elk......his shows are the best because they aren't fakey or staged. It's amazing how many shows are staged. I have grown to only watch Primos and Jim Zumbo. I pretty much quit watching the outdoor channel due to the poor quality of the shows. Whats real and what is fake?

I go to church with one of his "staffers" and he's a mossyoak staffer too. And my Dad is in G. Fred Asbells first book. And I'm a close friend to Jesus!

It sounds like this was an important moment in your life. I agree with the others, I think Primos does a better than average job of putting out realistic hunting programs. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with some of the others. I'm always skeptical when I hear someone say "we've been watching this buck four days in a row now" I very rarely see the same buck twice. I wish someone would make shows more educational. I like watching the animal come in and get shot or not get shot as much as the next guy, but I want to learn something. At least Primos hunts are "The Truth" and they tend to have a sense of humor.

LOL it does look like a card board cut out !!
I with you guys and the Primos shows, some of the best.
I'd like to hear the story of what happened with him and the original crew...Cuz Strickland and that gang from the first 2 or 3 videos. They seemed to have a genuine great time and then what ever happend... for a couple of years it seemed like the videos were a little stressed or something? Back to good times now though for sure.
