Guys I leave Friday to head to south Texas on a Hog/Javelina hunt. We will be hunting Hogs for three days and then going Bow Fishing for two days before heading back.
Besides my bow and blind any suggestions on what gear to take?
Thanks,
Rod
PS I know it is hot as heck in Texas but as a school administrator it is hard to get away anytime other than July. So you do what you can to make the most of your bow hunting.

I ve hunted hog's few time's, but chased with dog's and stalked. Have a good pair of walking boot's cause my quess is you will be doing a lot of spot and stalk. Or they may have you hunt waterholes by blind. Either way it's alot of fun. Good luck and bring home some bacon!!

Besides my bow and blind any suggestions on what gear to take? Lots of water and snake boots if you're doing any walking in the bush. Hogs hate the heat as well. Take advantage of low light and even hunt at dark if possible.
