As long as you have a deer tag you can apply for any hunt. I always buy my brother an archery tag and apply for all of the special deer hunts.

Any deer license will work for applying to the park or military hunts. h.h.

You don't use your tag for the state park hunts. If you draw a gun military hunt you would then have to buy a gun tag to hunt there.

You can apply with any deer tag whether is archery or gun. If you get drawn for an military archery hunt use an archery tag, if its a gun hunt then you need to purchase a firearms tag. If you draw a park hunt then no deer license tag is needed, they supply the tags.
Best scenario is to use your archery tag to apply for all the extra hunts and then purchase the license you need after you get drawn. h.h.

hh, Forgive me I've never done this before (park hunt). But if I get drawn I then would purchase license at the site of the hunt? Always wondered where you bought your tags at and how you got by with killing a buck there and it wouldn't count against you. So do you go buy three tags and then hunt or do you only buy a tag after you have killed an animal? And how much are the tags are they the same prices? Thanks BB

For the park hunts you don't buy tags. For the military hunts you must either purchase a military tag before the hunt or use your regular state tag. If you use your state tag you could not kill another buck. Each hunt location has the metal transport tags so you must check the deer before you leave.

Its best to use your archery tag to apply for the military and park hunts. If you get drawn for a military hunt you can buy a military license or use your gun or archery license. Best is to use a military license unless the gun season is over and your still carrying a buck tag. Atturbury hunts are in late December. You don't need to buy any tags for the park hunts but you do have to have a license in order to apply. Once you get drawn the park will tag your deer before you leave.
You ONLY need one license of any type in order to apply for the military and park hunt, which type is up to you. h.h.
