I know I posted this once but that was before I purchased my new Alphamax and just recieved several surgery bills!!!! I originally was looking at the leupolds to sit on my DPMS but now can't drop the coin on one. Has anyone ever heard anything about the Bruntons? I have an 8x pair of their binoculars and they have been excellent for the money. I am just weird about buying cheap glass and don't trust it. I realize the gun has no recoil so this should help. Any thoughts on the best "cheapest" glass for the money? This rig will be a coyote sniper so may be some low light duty.

You might want to check out Midways website. They are almost always running clearance sales on one scope or another.

I've been really, really happy with the Bushnell Banner "Dusk & Dawn" 4-12x40AO on my match rifle, and the one I put on a buddy's .243 788... Holds a zero through all magnifications, no fuzzy magnification levels, very clear picture, and I don't notice a substantial difference looking through my dad's Leupolds...
Plus, they're rated for "adult" spring-operated airguns, so they've got to be pretty stoutly...
I paid $85 for my last one, I think, at Natchez...
