anyone eat these? I found a bunch last night. They are listed as edible but I havent talked to anyone who eats them. Talked to a lot of people who say they pick em and give em away tho. Attachments:

Ive never seen one either thats why after I saw them last night I start doing some research. That one in the pic is about 5" tall and about that big around. I did finally find some guys who eat them but they're from Missouri...and you know how those dudes are

I get these every year in my flower beds where we put wood mulch. I looked them up too and even though they said edible they just look dirty to me so I haven't tried them.

Ummmm...LOTS of things might be listed as 'edible' - that don't mean that I am eating them however!! ;D THAT thing would definitely fall into that category.

I actually did talk to a buddy of mione who has ate them several times. He said they didnt have much of a flavor and didnt bother picking them anymore. That batch is still where I found it in my woods. I didnt have the testicle fortitude to try them
