Anyone hearing the birds yet? I heard 10 different birds on Saturday morning... they struck off around 100 gobbles between 6:30 and 7:20 a.m.

There are some pen raised "wild" turkeys by my buddy's house, and they have been gobbling for 2 weeks now, every morning.

I was in southern IN 2 weeks ago around Boonville, coyote hunting on some reclimation property, and had one sound off at a howl.

You need to get out more Kevin... I watched two gobblers strut and scream at each other for hours yesterday right across from Nolots feedmill.

I haven't heard any yet, but I haven't gotten the chance to go out either. I'm off next week and plan on heading to Kentucky one morning to do some walking.

I've mostly stayed close to home , sounds like I need to go back to a public I like to hunt over in Pilot Knob . There's tons of turkeys there .
