I went ou today to set up another blind for turkey season. I ended up seeing a hen get up from a nest full of eggs about twenty yards from a blind I put up last weekend.
I moved the blind, but I am wondering how this might effect the season. Any thoughts?
I thought it was a little early for them to be sitting on a nest.
Thanks

Isnt that the whole point of the season structure? To ensure the hens are bred BEFORE you take out the Males

Its dang good for hunting if the hens are on the nest. That means the gobblers will be on the prowl and lonely.

Thanks for the replies.
Do the hens still roost in the early stages or do they stay on the nest?
Thanks again
