I told my wife to get me a turkey call for christmas. This is what she got me. From what i hear blodgett calls are hard to find . It sounds great. This striker is awsome on any call also. 46 days till turk season in KY.

Nice call and a good wife! Blodgett had some kind of family/business troubles as I understand it. I think he may be back in business now. I like a laminated striker. I have a Pete Peters striker that I really like. Mr. Peters has stopped making calls but a good buddy made me some copies of his striker that work just as well. Slim

I was surprised at how much easier these flare tipped strikers are to use. My power crystal really screams with this striker on it. It sounds alot better then the dowel rod looking striker that came with it.

Blodgett's do make a great sounding call. The one that I had was a little higher pitched, but still ran great.
I also prefer the flared tip striker. Seems like all you have to do is set it on the glass and the thing runs it's self.
