What brand is that scope? seems like it is a Sigma if memory serves

It will unload in a hurry if you bump it when on game to! The woodcarver had some skill. The animals look 3D. It has a worn but well cared for look, too bad it can't talk. Someone's 60's or 70's fantasy rifle. You should be able to find a stock for it but it will require some fitting and finish work. Herters had some good stuff. GCA68 really hurt them. I have their loading press and it would be hard to beat even today. They are a good value used and shell holder adapters are easy to make or buy.

I was thinking the same thing, imagine the stories this gun could tell. The barrel has been free floated, leather sling has been repaired with a small piece of rope. I think this was someones pets gun at one time, you can tell it was cared for.
