Hello all from the Evansville area. Not new to guns or hunting, but have been away for awhile, and am thinking of getting back in the woods. My gun inventory is a bit lacking at the moment, consisting of the required .22 in a Savage Mark II lefty (I'm lefty), an NEF Pardner Pump, and 1944 Mosin 91/30 for long guns. Next purchase will be a long range rifle for yotes I think. Will be hangin' about here and there just readin' for quite some time I think, and as the owner of a couple firearms boards, it looks like the staff here have done a really nice job of setting it up. Congrats. I look forward to learning new things I've missed out on over the years, and getting back into the tranquility of a quiet woods or field. Though not from the city, I'm there now and hate it.

Thanks fellas.
Though the yote season is almost over, and I'll have to wait, I did stumble across a new (to me) gun a couple days ago, that I'll pick up next week.
Found a good price on a Winchester Mod. 70 Ultimate Shadow with scope in .270 WSM.
Yeah, I know, a bit overkill on caliber for yotes and groundhogs, and pretty pricey to shoot alot, but for the price, I couldn't pass it up.
Not something that will be a range plinker, so it might turn out o.k.
Thanks again for the welcome. E
