On the way home from work last week, I saw a tom strut'n around a bunch of hens. This was before the snow hit. I'm not much of a turkey hunter, but it seemed kind of early to me.

I've seen several strutters over the past couple of weeks. They were out in full force it the snow on Tuesday, turkeys EVERYWHERE!

I've seen birds strut year round..every year...The have been feeding heavily, the past week of cold weather and snow has got them searching hard...same with the deer..Food is scarce this time of year and the colder it gets the more activity..

I have been seeing lots of birds in the fields lately.
