I'll do some checking and see what I can find for ya. My uncle has raised and trained GWP's for over 30 years and he lives in Valparaiso. I know he has spoken of Kingdom Prairie but I don't remember the details. My GWP, TNT Master Duke (Duke - pictured below) has AKC history from a kennel in North Judson. I take it your into GWP's from your name?  |

Any info would be great. Im looking for a club to join so i can work the dog.
My GWP is from Illinois. He's my second and the newphew of my first one. I've had him for a few months. No titles yet. He's two and we are still getting to know each other.

COTTON did that dog come from a women who works for the DNR named Linda.

Hey featherduster. Duke came from my Uncle's kennels called TNT Kennels in Valparaiso. However, he was sired by Wingmaster Magnum out of a North Judson kennel in 2007. Kinda curious though - do you know where Linda is from? Maybe there is a connection I'm not familiar with.

Linda Byer is a biologist for the DNR, she works out of the Kankakee Fish and Wildlife office in North Judson (574) 896-3572. I do not know what breed of bird dog she raises however I have a friend that has had one of dogs and spoke highly of her kennel. I have also heard this from others.

Cool. I'm not familiar with her. My uncle is guiding quail hunts in Mississippi right now. I'll check with him when he gets back and see if I can get some more info on the NJ Kennel as well as Kingdom Prairie.

I was checking out the terrain of this hunt club on Google Earth and I think it is pretty neat that there is a truck with a dog kennel parked and even a possible hunter or two in blaze orange in a field there. I plan on joining as soon as I can get a day off work.
