Hello, I am new to Indiana. Just came from Washington State do to the Coast Guard and had to transfer. My family, wife and two daughters are advid hunters and I will be asking a lot of questions for the area and state. We archery hunt everything, love waterfowl, upland, rabbits and even those squirrels. I live in Chesterton, In so if you live by hope to see ya. I own two labs, one black ( angus) and one yellow/shepard mix (drake) my companion, but hunts really good.
Really want to get some huntin done but missed most of it because of work. If anyone is ever looking for someone to go, look my way. Not interested in your secret spot just a push in the right direction.
Hope to see or hear from everyone.
William F Wallace Jr (aka BRAVEHEART) and no I do not shoot lighting bolts out my ars, even though the wife thinks I do!

Hope you like snow and if you are working the big pond ( LAKE MICHIGAN ) there is some great fishing to be had there.Maybe you can borrow the rescue boat and take in some perch fishing.

Hello and welcome to you and your family!
Chesterton is a nice area and part of the snow belt in Indiana. There is some good hunting in IN, though it may pale to the west. My mantra is "you just gotta believe" and I have had some great hunts of all kinds. I live about 40 mins west of you. I do need to drive out that way to visit a friend and hunting buddy, once I finally get a day off work. I remember visiting relatives in Gig Harbor, WA back in the '70's.
