Well driving after work today, I found the mother load of birds. I saw an estimated 3000-5000 ducks, 1-2 thousand snows and maybe 1000 canadas this afternoon. They were dry feeding in several fields, now the big problem is trying to get permission to hunt these fields. I know several of them are off limits, and that was where the majority of birds were. I was sitting there and had maybe 300-500 mallards 30 yds. off the road. The land owner was sitting in his truck watching, we talked for 15 minutes, but would not let me hunt, he and his sons that farm and own the land duck hunt also. pretty nice guy, but wished he would of let me hunt in the morning, would of been worth a sick day.

Thats how the geese are up here. They are staying in big groups and feeding in fields that noone can hunt.
