Well , just bought a can for my Walther and Ruger 10/22 waiting for it to come in so I can do my form 4 and get the other paperwork done.
Anyone do a NFA trust over the form 4 to obtain can ?

A buddy of mine looked into it and it was expensive to do as well as the weapons are not LEGALLY yours. Legally there can be only one owner of a firearm so in effect the trust owns the weapon and there are limitations as to how you can do this that cause other legal issues and expenses as well.
We had discussed doing this so that we could share/loan out our weapons to each other but it was quickly seen as cost prohibitive and too restrictive.
But I would look into it if that is something you are looking at wanting to do. One man's pain in the butt is another man's love.
