Hey guys, I live in KY but have a spot outside of Terre Haute to hunt. Anyone know if the water is still open in this area? The place I have to hunt is a small lake (about 20 acres). All of our water down here is back open, but we are 3.5 hours south.

My son and me scouted the area between Terre Haute and Sullivan yesterday. Most bodies of water were covered, especially in low lying areas. The main body of Sullivan Lake was open. We are expecting up to 2 inches of rain between now and Christmas with temps in the 40's, so that should open things up again.

Hard to say....depends on how the wind was hitting it and how deep it is.

My dad is on the opposite side of the state (SE Indiana).
On the weekend they still had ice on most all of his spots. They are supposed to get a bunch of rain though. That should open things up.
Worst case we plan on "manually" opening a few places up this weekend. Boat and waders here I come!
