I am not trying to open a can of worms so if anyone has any negative comments to make keep them to yourselves!!!
I got an invite to join to the Hit Squad's site a couple of days ago but everytime I try to open the site it goes to the main Proboards page. Anyone "in the know" know what's going on??

Sorry, dadfsr. The Hoosier HIT Squad is in the process of being 100% dissolved.

My understanding is that Matt Hasse (HoosierHunter2) decided he needed to spend more time concentrating on his family. And thus scaled back / closed down most of the HIT Squad. He was the founder / owner and certainly could do that.
That's the basic version. I'm sure there is more to it than that... but you get the idea.
At the end of the day I don't think anyone can be mad. The guy had to choose his family or the HIT Squad. I don't think any of us would choose differently.

I agree, he was ONE of the owners I was one also and the company no longer exists...being dissolved 100%

Would guess that there are some business lessons to be learned from that deal. The hunting video industry is tough to break into, seems like most guys end up doing it for some sponsership deals and personal reasons in the end. What do I know, though? Getting in over your head and dragging others into it is not a good thing.

No doubt the hunting video industry is VERY hard to get into with very low profit margins to be had. Two or three main players rule the industry and have other business units (clothing, calls, supplies, etc) to subsidize their video production. The video production ends up being a channel to market higher margin products rather a profit generating unit in itself. A small start up has little to no hope to compete with the major players. Like most on here, I don't know the story of what went into this decision to dissolve Hoosier Hit Squad. I do know that Matt Haase is a great guy and a passionate waterfowl hunter. He spent several hours helping me get started in waterfowl hunting. He has answered many questions and really did all he could to get me started. I wish him and his family all the best.
