I am pretty much done hunting Indiana for the season. I will hunt a few days right after Christmas at my Grandpa's farm in East Tennessee, but other than that, it is time to close out the season with a little photo memory album... I got off to a good start in Tennessee in September with a young doe harvest off my Grandpa's farm...my first out of state deer. October found me in Indiana. Here are a couple shots from the tree stands. I was fortunate enough to harvest a nice mature doe with my bow in October. And I also got my first fall turkey and first ever turkey with a bow when I took this hen in early October. As the leaves began to drop, the corn remained standing and deer hunting got to be pretty tough during the "October Lull". These pictures are of Halloween night...it was slow. Opening weekend of shotgun season was anything but slow! I saw more deer on opening morning than in any single sit on stand in my life! The next morning capped off a memorable Indiana hunting season when both my hunting partner and myself dropped our biggest bucks to date...2 hours apart. ;D This has been my best and most memorable hunting season ever. I just thought I would share some of my lifelong memories in a little end of year album with you all. I enjoy looking at all your pictures. Keep them coming! Merry Christmas and good luck to all who are still out there hunting!
