This is my son and his buck from this season .He is to be at the recruiter station and reporting to his Staff Sargent for transport to meps and then the long flight to Boot camp for 14 weeks in California. Then he will be returning home in March for ten days then on to advanced combat training at an undisclosed location .Then off to Florida for 14 months of Aeronautics training .And then it will be off to where the rest of his classmates are all going . Please say a prayer for him . He may look like a young man but he is still my little buddy and best friend as well as hunting partner .I will miss him and his laugh more than you will know as well as seeing his joy when would hunt together. Just thought you might like to know that tonite we loose another young hunter for 5 years so that we all might sleep sound at nite . Just so you can see this when you get on to check in. Good luck Chris I am proud of you and love you son! Attachments:

Thanks for your decision Chris! My family is in debt to all those who have and will serve our country. There will be plenty of deer when you come back for visits.

I can't imagine, my son is 14 and bigger than me and he is still my little buddy and always will be. We all owe kids like your son a great big thank you for the work that they do.

I am a former Navy man... and if you ever want to get his goat... tell him that the the Marines are part of the Dept. of the Navy. (True) Now, he might then respond... "Yeah... the MEN'S dept."
We appreciate his service, and are proud of him with you.
