Anyone thinking about going hunting this weekend? I'm thinking about forgoing M/L season. Figure MMSF won't be overloaded with hunters. Besides I can check the parking areas and if no cars or trucks than I know, most likely, nobody is in the area.

Well didn't see any Deer Hunters in the woods at MMSF; same for the Squirrels . Oh well. It was a great day to be out in the woods.

I was at Yellowwood and saw zero squirrels. Is it common to not see any at times?
I am thinking about going back on Wed. afternoon until dark. The weather is calling for wind, rain/snow. Is a waste of time to attempt to hunt in those conditions?

I see more in the late evenings then I do in the mornings. Deer hunting both I've seen 2-3 in the mornings. Then in the evening I saw 12-13 right at 5:15pm. I had all of them within 40 yards all around me all at once. Talk about not being able to hear anything....
