Think that I'll slip down to Morgan Monroe and look for some of them little grays. My CZ 452 needs dusting off anyway.
Hope I'll have better success than I have with deer this year. Anyone ever made squirrel jerky? Just might be my only option! parson

What time of day do you find most successful?

Didn't really hunt much, I just kind of roamed around in the woods. Best therapy I've had in a long time! I even went by Bryant Creek lake and threw a jig around.
End result: No squirrels, no fish- but drove back to Indy feeling kind of renewed!
As to your Q. msu2hunter, I don't really squirrel hunt often enough to know the best time of day. I know that when I'm on a deer stand, morning & evening is when I see the most squirrel activity, especially the grays.
I typically shoot more squirrels in my garden than in the woods.
