My congratulations to that young hunter on bagging a fine nannie.

Yes, that is a great smile. I dearly love seeing these youngsters with their first and a big smile on their faces.

Thanks Woody. It really wasn't nerves as much as the excitement of seeing her first deer crash 60 yards away. I'm very proud of her and her twin brother, they totally understand it's our responsibility to properly manage our natural resources. And she brought the meat home proud to say she provided for the family.
Hunting with these youngens' has been more meaningful than any of my trophies on the wall.
At a family birthday party where most of them don't hunt, she had to explain that her harvest helped the other deer that were around live healthier, and have more to eat.
