On a morning when my buddy Hank and I were gonna be happy to SEE birds we got a big surprise... After setting up our spread of cork and burlap we got ready in our Barnegat's and almost right at shooting time had birds in our spread.... About 10 minutes later out of nowhere 5 low-flying Canvasbacks race in to the spread... They came from my side and I shot at the closest Drake... splash... Got in the boat to go and retrieve and my first Drake Canvasback... it was shot directly over the Canvasback good friend Josh Ward carved for me this year... An awesome hunt...

Congratulations on a trophy duck. I don't waterfowl hunt (I have enough vices ) but I know that is a beautiful and tough bird to come by. Good looking decoy too..

Nice bird. That's going to look great on a trophy wall next to JW's decoy.
