I got looking back at my bucks from the last 4 years and noticed a suprising trend. All 4 were killed between Oct. 31 and Nov. 7. The bucks were 3 1/2, 2 1/2, 3 1/2, and 4 1/2 years old. 3 out of the 4 were killed in the morning. 3 out of 4 were killed at the same location. I think I know when to schedule my vacation next year.

log books are a great tool! I learned a lot in high school by keeping logs of every bass I caught.

DECATUR: Were those Bass caught while you were "dittchen" school. The only outdoor thing I ever came close to logging in high school had something to do with Beavers.

Killed my 4 largest bucks in 20yrs of hunting in 02' 05' 08' 09' Could this be the effects of the OBR, who knows. But I do agree on the dates, killed a biggun 11-6-08 and another 10-31-09.

I wasn't much of a "trapper" in high school. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)

I too have harvested most of my Bucks in that time frame but I tend to really get serious about it just before the opening of firearms season. After the gun opener I just don't enjoy it as much until the late archery season.
