Just got back from a hunt today and we used two ole double guns (side by sides) on chukar. The gun on top is a 1923 Stevens 20 gauge and the gun on the bottom is a 1926 Heinrich Klett 16 gauge. It was a little windy, but the dogs worked great and so did the guns.

Can't be Royal Flush chukars since they aren't wearing tennis shoes. Those suckers run harder than a pheasant!!!!!

I also like using the old guns, adds to the hunt! I find it interesting when I took a friend pheasant hunting his first time he noticed the hunters were carrying more classics than he thought existed, Belgium Brownings, Merkels, Winchester model 12s, good ol double guns, as compared to deer hunters where everything is high tech or el crappo plastic stocks!
