A couple of Kentucky fisherman was a sitting on the Kentucky side of the Ohio river and was a gettin pretty mad that these 2 Hoosiers who were catchin fish like crazy on the Indiana side. The one Kentucky hillrod had this great idea to get these 2 Hoosiers so they went and got a small wooden boat, filled it plum full of DYNOMITE and sent it across the river right at these 2 Hoosiers.
The 2 Hoosiers were surprised when that boat floated up filled to the top with all that DYNOMITE.
So the 2 Hoosiers lit the fuse and sent the small boat back across the river to those Kentucky fisherman.

I'm not up on the rivalry between IN & KY but I know it's pretty high between IL & WI. I remember reading a while back that Kentucky thought the entire river belonged to them. I'd even heard stories about KY Game Wardens ticketing people who were standing on the IN or IL side of the river for fishing w/o a KY fishing license. I don't know if there is any truth to that or not but I can't for the life of me understand how they can ticket someone standing on the soil of another State.
