I would like to fill in on a lease or find a couple people who are interested in leasing property together in and around Delaware county for deer hunting. I am aware it's a bit of a late start but with a few serious people it should be possible. Send a message, post a reply, or just kick around some ideas, or just put your name in the hat and maybe we can get something put together.

There has to be some people interested. I have been able to locate a couple potential properties could need up to 3 others to fill in on. Cost would likely be anywhere from 500.00 to 1,000.00 per person, of course paying more individually would reduce the number of hunters and pressure. I like to hunt all 4 seasons myself, and am not concerned with telling anyone else how they should hunt. I do not want to spend another season hunting public property.

Put out some fliers and knock on the doors of the owners you want to hunt on. Tell them what you can offer and see what happens. Someone out there has a spot for you. Good luck. I moved from Anderson (life long resident of Madison/Delaware Counties until I hit 30. All I can say is I am so glad I left!!!! But there are places to hunt just keep putting in the effort to find a place.

Thank for the encouragement Duff. This is a tough place to live anymore job loss and economy, but maybe with all the decline some opportunities will be available. I'm going to start the "cold calling" later this week after I identify some areas and property owners to ask. It should be fun but the worst they can say is no.
There are leases available in Wayne County, it's a bit of a drive for me but might be interested in putting a deal together with someone.
