The best part is you can use it to hunt immedietly after you purchase it if you buy it from the Arkansas DNR web site. They will give you a coformation # that is good for 45 days. About a week after you order it,, you will recieve a conformation letter in the mail from Arkansas. All it is is a receipt from them saying what you bought with you Arkansas Customer ID on it as well. Then 22 days later you will recieve the actual stamp in the mail.. It will come from a company in Grand Prarie, Texas.. It also comes with a packing slip,, the name of the company that sends you the actual stamp is
Amplex Corp. 1100 Fountain Parkway Graand Prarie, Tx 75050

Buyer beware. ONly thing I have seen is a few guys online saying it's legal. You make the decision on how you want to do it. You have plenty of time to order or buy one and actually hunt with your signed stamp so no sweat.
Personally I wouldn't trust what another person tells you on the net in regards to new rules unless they are responsible for making the rules, enforcing them, or have a proven record of providing accurate info.

Good advice. Until it shows up in the hunting regs, or there's an announcement from IDNR I think you'd be a fool to go this route versus just going to the post office, buying the stamp, SIGNING IT, and being legal like the 2009-2010 regulations state you must do in order to hunt waterfowl in Indiana.

Or you can go to the Post office or most retailers and get it immediately. Or order it on the post office web site and have it in two days. Or you can order it from Arkansas for some stupid reason and basically hunt with out it.
I dont get it if i have it and its not signed i can get a ticket, but a confirmation number from a web site in arkansas is legal. Makes no sense to me.

A lot of Indiana post offices aren't carrying the stamps this year. I used the po web site last year and it came pretty quick (surprise).

I don't think many retailers are carrying them anymore. Probably the reason they are trying this new program.

Bought mine at wal mart this year in Laporte, small rural po-dunk Montezuma post office the year before... It really isn't that much of a pain to find the stamp.
Anyways, if you want to hunt with a code and you FEEL you are within the law go for it. I will continue to hunt with a signed stamp and KNOW I am legal.
Good luck guys it gets closer and closer every day!!!!!!!!!!

He said that he and ALL IN officers received an email about the # for federal duck stamp. He also told me that there is a number for them to call and check status of #. There was an error made in the number of stamps printed this year that left a crunch as to what locations got them. The solution was to send them to high volume locations based on numbers from last year. This is why some locations have them and some don't....

The error in the number of stamps being issued is not true. They said this was a three year program. So being short on stamps had nothing to do with it.

Cool, cause I heard on another site that you could do this. I'm just going to order it and hunt with it. I'm good to go.

This sounds very much like something that could be filed under "officer discretion." I would probably be calling the CO in your AO before putting it to the test.

Sounds like the fed needs to go to just give us your money and here is your number. The stamp could be a novelty extra if you want it. Not that they would do anything that makes sense.

Sorry Greg. I don't trust what another guy heard. If it is true I want to hear it from a CO, those who chaged the rule, or someone with a proven record to pass that info on. Some random quote from nameless dude on the internet does not qualify.

I think you took my post all wrong, don't really have a problem with the heritage of the sport. I enjoy saving my stamps and displaying them. Some of you big time wf guys need to take a chill pill.
