has anyone turned a fridge into a deer cooler? i picked up a side by side today the freezer works well but the fridge part seems not to be getting to cool i think if i take out the wall between the to it will be ok but has an one done this and have any how to info that may help me out ? like how to put a pipe in the top to actually hang the deer from? is it as simple as drilling the holse and putting in a pipe?

why don't you just butcher your deer immediately and then place all the meat in the fridge to cool? It should all fit in a two large SS pans. Much simpler and less work than what you are talking about doing.

I would think a cheap fridge could be adapted easily to a deer cooler. I'd go with a standard fridge with no freezer, or a top or bottom freezer if necessary, not a side by side.
