Using the menu I've worked up a grocery list. I 'think' I've got it all, but if anyone sees something I missed or that we need please chime in.

Bar B Que NEEDS rye bread...but you are right. One of rye and one of white.... Don't forget the mayo & cheese with the rye!!! The ultimate bbq samich... These boneless ribs are a pretty good chunk of meat. Not sure one can make a sandwich out of them. It would be a SUPER FAT sandwich for sure. The rye bread is for slopping up the sauce....

I'll bring the following items for the two B&G breakfast's. Eggs Biscuits Taters Venison Breakfast Sausage Milk (For Gravy & Scrambled Eggs) Spices (For Gravy & Scrambled Eggs) DT, I talked to a guy at church today that does the Men's Lenten Breakfasts for us. He said: Figure on at least three eggs per person. He adds a little milk to the eggs AND a 16 ounce jar of Cheez Whiz. Sam's has eggs in bulk 7 1/2 dozen eggs per container. Not sure on the cost, but they are usually a lot cheaper than elsewhere. That would be 90 eggs which would be about right for the number of people that we are a having per breakfast. Two containers of eggs, two 16 ounce jars of Cheez Whiz and a quart or so of milk.. I'm borrowing from church the electric cooker that we do the eggs in. It will cook the 7 1/2 dozen eggs at a time with ease.. Crack the eggs and stir, pour in the milk, pre-heat the Cheez Whiz and pour it in... then just stir once in awhile in the cooker....

Done beat you to it! I already have 90 eggs & 6 gal. of milk on my list for the scrambled eggs & gravy. I always add milk & butter to my scrambled eggs to fluff em up. There are all kinds of goodies that I normally use such as various spices, meats, veggies, & taters along with cheese that can be added to the eggs to streach em out & use-up left overs.

I planned on bringing everything needed for the chili, not just the ground venison. I actually thought about just using two crock pots, instead of packing the big kettle along.
And i will also bring along a bird ready to deep fry.

And i will also bring along a bird ready to deep fry. That is great. I don't think just two crock pots of chili would be enough. We will have 27 or so folks there. But, whatever you think..

QUESTION -
I have the frying turkeys down as the Saturday noon meal. How about if we move that as part of the Saturday evening meal and have burgers, hot dogs and bologna sandwiches and the trimmings for lunch Saturday?
The folks that don't like fish or venison would then have another choice.
Also...
We plan on doing some activities Saturday and just a lunch type meal would help...
