As many of you know we lost our good friend Art Spancake last year. Kyle E hunted with art more than anyone. So this morning Art was in our thoughts. Art was big on bands and that was pretty much his goal everytime he hunted. First thing this morning we have 20 geese come into our spread. I shoot three times and miss (no surprise) Kyle shoots and only one bird falls. Kyle retrieved the bird and sure enough it was banded. We are pretty sure that bird was sent to us from above. As kyle said when he retrieved the bird THANKS ART. Great way to start the season

I always thought it was neat that Art died doing what he loved, I never met him but can tell from all the stories you guy's tell that he was a pretty cool dude.
