Chuck:
I will be driving up to Glendale to take a look at their fields tomorrow afternoon, but am not expecting much this year. Due to the rain when they wanted to plant, much of the state property did not get much planted. Blue Grass did get flower in a bit late and it has been cut. Sugar Ridge did not get anything out and I am not sure about Glendale. Will post here Saturday evening about what I find at Glendale.

Chuck & Others:
I took a look at Glendale yesterday eveing about 30 minutes before dark, then another look at around noon today. Also spoke to the office today and picked up a map.
Fields: They did get some flower planted but by and large there is no flower. Too wet at planting time and they think they planted too deep for the wet soil. The little flower they do have is largely choked solid by weed. Steips have been cut and ground has been broke as usual, but in the 2 hours I spent there I saw very few birds flying or on lines. I told offce that I had a few friends in Indy waiting for my report before they decided to head down or not.....his response: Tell them not to make the trip
Conditions are poor enough that they will not be holding their normal draw the first few days of the season.
Yesterday evening I did see a few birds flying near sundown, so you might get some pass shooting in.
Fields planted: 3 along north perimeter road: One is the corner (NW), others off of parking lots B-3 & C-1. Nothing planted down east side of property. Along south side of property one field near Goose Pond and one across the road from property managers home on the far south boundry (M-7?).
Good luck
Paul
