IF anyone needs a weapon, let me know.
IF anyone wants to archery or crossbow hunt, we'll set you up for short shot.
I'll have a couple of archery targets in camp if any of the kids want to shoot some. We could also do some gun shooting if needed to check sights somewhere on the farm.

I'll bring my youth friendly Ruger .44 Carbine, two crossbows and a portable shooting bench.

I'm bringing the Encore carbine for my youth but I'll throw the 870 in as well just in case. I'm thinking for newer shooters it might be best not to bring any of the Encore handcannons - even something gentile like the 6mm. I have a 45x209 Encore set up - I could bring it if someone wants to try their hand at that?

I'd be a bit leary of letting a youth ( that is not experienced with them )use any kind of handgun for hunting.
Shooting it at a practice range under a watchful eye would be OK.

I 110% agree that the kids need to know the weapon they are shooting before they go into the field with it. I dont think any of us "experienced" hunters would go hunting with a gun we have never shot and I dont know why we would allow a child to do it either. Dont forget ear and eye protection when sighting in.

The clubhouse is with in a half mile of Vincennes Gun Club, so I suppose we could shoot there if anyone wants to? I found a number on the 'net and will check it out. If not, we can shoot on the property, but would prefer not to with us hunting there.
