Saw Mature deer on our property during Bow, then on opening morning saw one mature buck chasing a doe real early. After that we have seen only yearlings, but we have seen them each time out. No mature does or bucks, just little ones. Property has decent cover and does not receive that much pressure. Surrounding properties have same type of cover but are adjacent to cut crop fields. Am I just seeing that the does have moved off my property and the bucks followed or am I just missing something altogether. Have never had it where we did not see any older deer and just the young ones before. Thanks!

Big bucks have gone nocturnal and are staying bedded during the day... I've seen does move to bedding in fencerows and little patches of isolated cover instead of hanging in the woods since hunting pressure started...
Look for fresh tracks in the A.M. and they will lead to where the recent beds are...
