Howdy all...I just found out about this board through a google search. Had been reading and posting on GON outdoors (which is a Georgia site). I'm a new deer hunter (shot my first with a shotgun last year) and just bought a bow for this year. I've fished most of my life and just recently put down my bait caster and picked up a fly rod. I'm hoping to learn more on this forum....

Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. I haven't been fly fishing that long (about a year) but I am certainly an "enthusiast". Actually, I haven't been hunting that long either (about 2-3 years). I grew up as a city boy, married my wife who was a city girl. She just happened to have a cousin who was COUNTRY. He got me hooked on fishing and hunting.
I've duck hunted in Georgia and have places to deer and turkey hunt there too. Just never been. In Indiana I ONLY hunt Miami county since that's the only place I know anyone with land. I'd like to try to find some around northern Hamilton County. (Although I'm not sure how many huge deer are taken out of this county. Last year the numbers weren't that high compared to other counties.
In any event, what little knowledge I can offer I hope to contribute to this board. If anyone ever needs anything in Noblesville let me know.
