Below are "MY" personal preferences: 1. 11-87 or 870 Remington w/slug barrel & scope in 12 Ga. or 20 Ga. ( I use 20 ga.) 2. Any of the "name brand" under & outer wear that breathes & wisks perpersation away from your skin with a soft outer shell. 3. It depends on the style you prefer. Be it a climber, hang-on, ladder, or ground blind. 4. Buck 5. Scent Kill & Code Blue 6. When the does come into heat and are ready to breed. It's just like when female dogs come into heat & all of the male dogs in the neighborhood chase after her 24/7. Believe me you will know as the action gets frantic during the peak of the pre-rut..... Welcome jv. Glad to have you on board. GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, & BE SAFE !!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the board and to deer hunting! I feel the first place to start is to pick up, or look up online, all of Indianas hunting regulations. Knowing the regs, and ensuring a quick clean kill by lots of pre-season practice, knowing you and your equipment's limitations, as well as waiting for a good shot opportunity are some of the most important responsibilties in hunting. Good luck!
Also, there is no such thing as a stupid question!
