Does anyone know what the birth rate odds are for albino deer in Indiana? I have a couple of bud's that have taken caspers.

That is pretty cool. Sucker is full albino. I'd shoot it without a doubt (if I had a tag for it.).

Hope your joking!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nope.. If a person is going to shoot a spike (quite a legal deer) then this one is about as nice as they come. Oh BTW, the fellow holding him is 6'4"

That is certainly a unique trophy. Very cool.
I killed a piebald 8 point my very first hunt with a bow. Don Mulligan did an article about piebalds shortly thereafter. I have the article here somewhere, but I think he said that piebalds are 1 in 10,000. I would think that albino's would be even less frequent.
Congrats to your friend Woody.

Thats pretty NEAT.....a red & white deer!
Don't you beleive that those albino's don't really have a chance of surviving very long anyways?....It's not like they blend in very well.....unless it's snowing!
That is truely a once in a lifetime deer!!!!!

The red thing on the leg is a check in station metal tag. We tag then with a paper tag and then the check station puts that metal tag on them after they are checked in. On the "quote"thing. If you hit the quote button in the post that you want quoted it will shot up in your reply inside that little box.

RJ,
That band looks red in the pic, but this year they are actually orange. The change the color every year.
I hope they NEVER do away with our check in system, those metal tags are "my" trophies!....I have saved every one I have been fortunate enough to get for the last 12 years.
My wife tells me...."it's bad enough that you hang those ugly antlers on our wall, BUT DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE ALL THOSE METAL BANDS HANGING FROM THEM ALSO?"

Cool ... keeping the bands ! We don't have those here in Ontario ... I keep bands from banded waterfowl and pheasant .... a trophy collection of sorts .

Woody, that guy looks pretty familiar.
I know of a couple of albino's running around Warrick county. Would you care to pm me the area that he shot it at? I know a couple of guys were trying to protect on of the bucks during the deprevation season.
