I think most .22 LR ammo is created equal when it comes to target practice. At 25 yards you probably won't see a huge difference from brand to brand. It's when you start extending the yardage that you'll notice the differences. Try shooting at 50-100 yards sometime and see what happens.

Put down the scatter guns and hunt those rats the way it was meant to be with a .22!!!! Good luck and have fun guys!

...i would suggest using .22 hollow points for squirrels, mostly for the fox squirrels, they can can be tough critters, if you go earily in the season , look for hickory trees that have fresh cuttings, have fun and there usually mosquitoes, so be prepared! I LOVE TO GO SQUIRREL HUNTING!!!! and theres' a nice dinner with squirrels ,biscuits and gravvvvvy!!!!!MMMMMMM...GOOD...... ........ ........ .................GOOD LUCK GUYS...............turkey scout
