I have a 4 acre field I'm looking to plant, the problem I have is from time to time it will flood up. Ive planted clover and brassica but it dosent do well if the ground floods. I was looking to see what I can plant that will not die if it floods. I have put in 3 apple, 2 peach and 2 pear trees look like they are doing fine.

What is your goal? Large game feed? Small game habitat? Re-forestation?

My goal is to put in a destination food source. There is no food source other than natural brouse and what food plots I've planted. Would really like to plant corn or beans but not sure if they will work due to the flooding?

Don't know of anything that grows well under water..maybe rice..Almost anything will die if it gets too much water or flooded lol ...I like alfalfa, brassica( turnips), clover..Brassica is great for a late season hunting plot...The deer will flat tear it up in Dcember and Jan...Alfalfa is good all around plot, chickory does well, rye grass, sunflower, millet, sorghum , just depends what and when you want to attract animals...A good wildlife mix is a good all round plot for everything...chufa works well for turkeys...What specifically are you wnating to attract and what time of year..Oct,Nov, Dec or later....?

Planted shot plot and winter peas this week. Problem is along river and when it floods up it comes quick and kills everything. 3 later days clover already up hopefully it will not flood again.
