I made the trek to western ILL this weekend to run a few dogs in the Mississippi Flyway Hunting Retriever Club's annual hunt test. Our 'batting average' for the weekend was 1000. Passed all the client's dogs and the icing on the cake was putting the CHAMPION title on my own Cooper. He is now -Hunting Retriever Champion Upland Hunter Crosspeakes Colonel Cooper-A long, but very good story from the weekend's series, I'm beside myself... Thanks for puttin up with my brag....

Congrats! He's a great looking dog.
I've never trained or competed with a retriever. How long does such an achievement take?

Good job Coop! I knew he was a winner when that goose nearly landed on him and he didn't budge. That takes lots of work. Good job JW
