I expect DNR will kill many of these topics but who knows.

I imagine there will be some prepared statements in favor of shortening/moving firearms seasons out of the rut. Let the fun begin.

Who suggested that we increase rifle calibers? And just what are the details on that. We have a boat load of calibers available now. Don't quite understand this.

The list of suggestions for the July meeting will cover Administrative Cause 09-088D. When that is posted you will be able to see who suggested what and what the details are. I wouldn't expect DNR to post that much more than a week before the meeting though.

Do you think they will discuss each and every item or will they cull before the meeting?

At the last meeting the Advisory Council only discussed items that the public wanted to comment on. They take no votes and give no indication of how such and such a suggestion might or might not proceed. It was a surprize to them when so many trivial subjects generated so much conversation. I can't even imagine the chaos of this deer meeting.
Don't forget that this is the very first step in a long public trial for all these suggestions.

I suggested we allow everything .35 and larger since there are several good deer cartridges that would be included.
