Thank goodness my asparagus is done. I went through 2 weeks where I was picking over 200 spears a day. I love it but was burned out. I have tomatoes the size of golf balls. I started my plants in a container inside and then transplanted. My corn is about 4-6 inches tall. Planting some World of Color pumpkins tonight. Planting the rest of pumpkins and gourds the end of May

Tomatoes, peppers, one hill of zuchini and two rows of beans are all I've got out right now. Too busy when it's been dry enough and too wet all the rest of the time. This weekend I hope to get a decent push and get some potatoes in the ground (if I can still find any ), more beans and a few more things. After that is done then I need to cut down about 6-7 pine trees that have needed to come down for 7 years to allow more afternoon/evening light to the garden!
