The only "blue" birds that we have had so far are the Indigo Buntings.

Great pics!I had a couple blue birds nesting out back,there were 5 babies in the house until something knocked it over and got them...I have since screwedthe house down to a post...They laid a few more eggs but they were gone in a couple days,I have no idea what's doing it...Hoepfully they will still stick around,they been out here for a couple years now and I like watching them...

Nice photos Jim. I do not have any bluebirds as there are no openings in the woods big enough to support them. They do check things out in early spring but end up at nieghbors houses. Gunnah, I have never seen a blue grosbeak. Do they just migrate through like the rosebreasteds or do they hang around?
