...free decoy! ;D I skinned out the entire bird, coated it good with Borax, made a body out of wood and a sacrificial Nerf football ;D, and mounted it. I used a head off one of our hen decoys. I'll paint the head to look like a jake before next season and add some detail to the legs with my dremel tool. If it still looks good after drying, I'll post some more pics and details on the process. Check out that beard, it almost goes past the feathers! 
After I took this pic I yanked the beard and put my son Chase's Alabama jake beard on it, looked much better. Now I need Chase to kill me a hen this fall to go with it!
