Considering that in order to possess a harvested deer or turkey it must be tagged with the hunter's name and information and then checked in at a check station, and that deer and turkeys are the only animals that are required to be checked at a check station and then permanently tagged upon checking in, and considering that you need a roadkill permit for a deer, the only other animal required to be tagged and checked after harvest and then permanently tagged, I have the opinion, that yes, you should obtain a roadkill permit for a roadkilled turkey. I know that times are tough, but its gonna take a lot of roadkilled birds to feed a starving family.....or is it the beard and spurs that you really want?
