I have a Smith & Wesson Model 60 Pro 357 for a carry gun. It will drive tacks with adjustable sights and reloads and has a great trigger.

Just my personal opinion here. You might consider staying away from the double stack magazine models for an everyday carry pistol for several reasons. They are heavier - less comfortable to carry They are bulkier - more difficult to conceal In a firearm carried for self-defense, just a few rounds will suffice - you're not going to be involved in a threat management situation Again, just my personal opinion. In my experience, most who are new to the CCW game initially buy a firearm they quickly determine to be too large for routine carry. Lol this is true, I got my CCW permit when I was 18 and the first gun I carried? A Desert Eagle .50. My favorite gun. I paid a lot for it and it was a piece of junk. It jammed every few rounds. And talking to the gun store guys, all of the ones they'd delt with seemed to. They figured it would take finding the right ammo for it, but ammo for it was hard to find anywhere. I carried it on a shoulder holster. Im a big guy (6'6'') but that gun got old fast. Now, im older and wiser, (26) and I carry a taurus total titanium .38 special plus P. Cant even tell I got the gun on me. Somtimes I carry a glock model 22 .40 cal. Also a nice gun but you'll know you have it on you.
