I'm live no where near this area so it gonna be hard for me to go down to the Lake to scout for opening day.Just wanting to know if any of you have had any idea about this area.Any help with the lake at all will help.I'm not really about myself scoring on a bird if my youngest daughter I'm worried about getting one for!Shes doesn't like deer hunting to well but she does like to turkey hunt and I'll do anything in my power to get her one!By the way I'll be using a boat so I'll be able to launch from any ramp thats there.

I have never Turkey hunted around the lake but every spring while fishing on the lake I hear gobblers in many places. Walls is an area that I do not frequent much so no specific info there, sorry. With a boat and all the NF around the lake you should do well, just let your ears be your guide and get out there and scout.

are you talking about the Walls ramp on Patoka lake?
If so yes I have hunted from that ramp before , it was years ago but there were lots of birds and we had plenty of activity

Be carefull puting in at Walls if I remember right theres a lot of stumps and structure under the water so I wouldn't launch till sunlight, just some friendly advice. Good luck!

This is true , be very careful unless you know that area cause there are lots of stumps
